課程概述 |
In this course we
investigate a central topic
in the philosophy of mind(846f)
the nature of perception.
In the first part of the
course, we will consider the
following issues: what are
the phenomenal character and
the intentional content of
perceptual experiences?
What is the relation between
these two components? In
the second part, we will
discuss the main theories of
the intentionality of
perception: Sense Datum
Theory, Intentional Theory
of Perception and
Disjunctivism. We will
examine the theses,
arguments and consequences
of these philosophical
positions. In the final
part, if time allows, we
will examine the relation
between perception and
action. |

There are three goals in
this course: first, we aim
to obtain a deeper
understanding of the nature
of perception and its
philosophical significance.
Second, students learn how
to read philosophical texts
carefully and write
clearly. Third, students
try to develop their own
thoughts regarding the above
philosophical issues. |

學生除了得花奶珙蒛爭x難的哲
學作品，在上課時參與討論，評
估各種立場的論證，也需要在作
業中提出自己的觀點，並加以辯
護。 |
